Know the rules.

When in doubt, consider the Festival Code of Conduct: Respect.

RULE COMPLIANCE:

Failure to comply with festival policies may result in removal from the festival without refund.

FESTIVAL RE-ENTRY:
Please keep your wristband(s) on at all times. There is no re-entry without the proper wristband.

PARKING:
You must display your parking pass on your windshield while you are on the La Foret property. Vehicles without a valid parking pass will be towed. Once your vehicle is parked it may not be moved, other than to leave the property.

PETS:
Pets are not permitted at MeadowGrass, with the exception of trained service animals. Please contact the festival at least one week in advance to provide proof of medical need.

SMOKING:
Rocky Mountain Highway and La Foret are committed to producing a safe and family-friendly MeadowGrass Music Festival. Smoking on the festival grounds (including the camping area) is restricted to designated smoking areas only. Please dispose of cigarette butts in the appropriate containers. There is no smoking allowed inside any buildings. This includes cabins, yurts, bathroom facilities and all other buildings. No smoking is permitted under the festival tent at any time, including electronic cigarettes and vapor devices. Smoking of electronic and vapor devices is permitted on the festival grounds in designated smoking areas, away from families. Please help us protect the forest from fire danger and our children from exposure to second-hand smoke by obeying these rules.

CANNABIS:
Although it is now legal to purchase and consume cannabis products privately in Colorado, the use of marijuana in public remains illegal. Therefore, public consumption of marijuana or any other illegal drug is prohibited at La Foret. Please be mindful of this and respect those around you.

FIRE:
All campfires, cooking fires and open fires are prohibited at La Foret. Propane cook stoves and propane campfires are permitted.

WEATHER:
MeadowGrass is held each year, rain or shine. No refunds will be given for any weather-related cancellation or problem. Springtime weather in the Rockies is notoriously unpredictable – you may encounter rain, sun, wind or even some snow. We recommend that you come prepared with sunscreen, a rain jacket and warm clothing for nighttime. Dress in layers!

SEATING:
Chairs are not provided at MeadowGrass. You are welcome to bring your own blankets and camp chairs, but we ask that any high-clearance chairs (i.e., if a basketball can fit underneath) be placed only at the back of the main festival tent. Low chairs are permitted closer to the front, but please do your part to make sure you are not blocking the view of the people behind you. Tents are not permitted in the main festival tent.

CAMPING:
Each camper who presents a valid weekend pass with camping will receive a wristband that authorizes his or her right to remain on the property overnight. If you do not have a camping wristband, you will not be permitted to stay overnight. This year, campers are not permitted to park vehicles next to their camp sites. If you have a valid parking pass you will be directed to a designated parking space as close to the camping area as possible.

LODGING:
Off-site lodging is available near I-25 at the Interquest Parkway and Monument exits.

OUTSIDE FOOD AND BEVERAGE:
Outside alcohol is absolutely prohibited within the main festival grounds as a requirement of our special event permit. Food and non-alcoholic beverages may be brought into the festival grounds, but coolers are prohibited out of respect for our food vendors. Our vendors offer a diverse selection of delicious food and beverages, and we encourage you to sample their offerings. Glass containers (with the exception of official MeadowGrass souvenir mugs) are prohibited on the festival grounds.

ALCOHOL:
You will be required to show proper identification to purchase alcoholic beverages – please drink responsibly. Alcohol purchased at the festival may not leave the festival grounds.

WATER:
Complimentary drinking water is available at stations located on the main festival grounds. Please feel free to bring your own water bottle to fill, and make sure to stay hydrated throughout the weekend. If you are coming from a lower elevation, it is especially important that you stay hydrated.

FIRST AID:
The first-aid station is located in the lower level of the dining hall (to the right of the tent, as you’re facing the stage). They are available to meet any first aid needs while the main stage is operating. After hours, please find a security officer or dial 911 if you are in need of immediate medical attention.

WEAPONS:
Violence and weapons of any type, including firearms, are absolutely prohibited at MeadowGrass.

SECURITY:
Our security personnel are authorized to remove any person who violates the rules of the festival. If you have an issue with any of your fellow Festivarians, please inform our security team or any of our volunteers. We reserve the right to eject any person who in our judgment is creating a security or safety risk at any time.

ICE:
Ice is available for purchase outside the Dining Hall from 10 a.m. to noon each day.

PUBLICITY IMAGES:
Rocky Mountain Highway reserves the right to take publicity photographs and video footage of the festival and/or the individuals who are present at the festival. Each person entering La Foret to attend the MeadowGrass Music Festival in any capacity is deemed to have consented to our right to use his or her photographic or video likeness or image for promotional and/or publicity purposes in print, television and internet advertisements, brochures, and the like.
